Hondros College of Nursing

I was previously enrolled at Hondros College of Nursing and had to withdraw for personal reasons. Since then, I have been in consistent communication with the school and submitted all of the required documentation to return. Unfortunately, it has now been about two months since I began reaching out, and despite the new term starting, I have not received any follow-up calls or emails. The lack of communication and support has been extremely disappointing, especially for a school that promotes itself as being student-focused. I was genuinely eager to return and continue my education, but the unresponsiveness has made the process frustrating and discouraging. I hope the school improves its communication and follow-up with students in the future.

Whatever you do, please consider going somewhere else like tri-c ,Cleveland state even Valley college is better than here to pursue your nursing care career because all you will get from this Hondros location in Independence is a waste of money, lack of real education, and disrespect. You will be met with inconveniences and uncertainty the whole time you are enrolled you will have teachers who abruptly quit during the beginning, the middle, and the end of the semester in multiple different classes. When the teachers abruptly leave the school still, expects you to take an exam, a quiz , or do homework, EVEN IF THEY HAVE NOT PROVIDED YOU THE MATERIAL TO STUDY for there exam, homework ,or quiz. they still expect you to test no matter if the teacher was missing for months they still expect you

They only care about getting money from the students. It’s very expensive for the experience that you get. The assignments are so extra, they teach you absolutely NOTHING. And take time away from the exam studying. The exams have information on there that the instructor did not go through, but they say we should know. It’s impossible to get in contact with them, and they take forever to fix any mistakes. The clinical experience is SOOO bad !!! Nursing homes where you do nothing but follow an LPN around, they have no IV medication, no assessments, no wound care, no cath insertion, and for PEDs clinicals, you sit in a classroom on cam

This school does not have your best interest at heart! They will fail you, tell you to "appeal" and still deny you. Telling you basically that their mistakes are your fault! If you have a chance to go to a community college, where it's cheaper and you'll get treated with respect, please run and do so! This school sets you up for failure, they just want your money.

They suck! If I could give 0 stars I would. If you appeal anything they’ll automatically deny it and you’ll have to start the class all over again paying more money. They are very disorganized. Teacher quitting left to right. I had a teacher quick within the first couple weeks in the first term. They had to have another teacher who never taught the class step in. She messed up our grades kept having to fix everybody’s grades because she was rushing and lazy. Be careful going here.
