Holzer Meigs Emergency Department

Went in due to the fact I collapsed from coughing and not being able to breathe. Was tested for a new form of covid and wasn't even checked on. Was shoved out the door within an hour. Still can not breathe 24 hours later. Will risk dying on the ride to obleness next time. If at all avoid this emergency room. Staff was also giving annoyed sighs and grunts when trying to get admitted over an address change. Upon getting i formed of a new covid variant, very few staff seemed to worry about wearing a mask

this place is disgusting. we got put in basically a coat closet there was blood on the floor. someone else’s urine on the nasty metal tray they had in there. dirty blankets piled on the visitor chair. overall i’d rather die than to be seen by this poor excuse of a hospital.

I was experiencing severe vomiting after consuming food or drinks, to the point where my entire body became blood red, and I felt extremely lightheaded. I could also feel my heart rate strongly in the back of my head due to the intense vomiting, which I believed indicated high blood pressure. I visited the emergency room seeking answers, but unfortunately, they failed to provide any. After conducting a nasal swab, which yielded negative results, the medical team made an educated guess, & stating “there isn’t really a point in chest X-ray” & then suggesting that I likely had mild pneumonia or bronchitis. LIKE I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHAT EXACTLY I HAVE?!?? I spent two hours in the ER only to receive a speculative diagnosis. I hope the prescribed antibiotics will effectively address the issue.

Doctor said my throat was fine and uvula wasn’t swollen and have been having problems for months. Here we are at 3:00am in my living room, having issues again because of my throat / uvula. Krystal wasn’t very friendly either.

Triage nurse was a witch and would not take my long list of meds I can not take and do take. Did not listen when I came in door and told her what I was there for but then turns around two.min later and asked why I was there then got.angry at me because I didnt want to keep repeating myself because I felt bad.. Then I got super grumpy and didnt even want to deal with her any longer. Then I laid in a room almost an hour before doctor came in. Then another half hr goes by before I get IV and blood drawn. I was nauseous, the meds they put in IV didn't work. They gave me a GI cocktail and that made me start dry heaving and vomiting acid for hour and half and made asthma flare. Asked for inhaler because I couldn't catch breath. Female Nurse or aid never told Dr I needed an inhaler. I had to
