Holland Farms Senior Living

We moved my father to Holland Farms assisted living about a month ago. It is very nice and the staff is all super friendly. The best part and most important part is that my Dad loves it. He loves having his own apartment with all the amenities. He loves the activities and loves the staff. We could not be happier with the choice we made. Truth be told he loved it from the moment we walked in and loved choosing his own apparent and making it his own.

Incredible on-boarding experience for our family. The leadership and staff are incredible people with a passion for people. I worked in an Operations Leadership role for 35 years and I can tell you these folks are on top of their game every step of the way. We moved our loved one to this facility after being in the same house for over 50 years. It was a tough transition that was needed for their safety as living at home was no longer an option. The management and staff are amazing!! They care and love the residents like they were their own. BEST decision we could have EVER made for our loved one. And the Activities Director is top notch. So many fun and engaging activities for everyone. Our loved one now visits their old house to make sure all is ok, but asks if they can go “home” to Holland Farms.

While I am happy to provide a positive review for Holland Farms from a personal point of view, I think it is even more important to share that in my interactions with other health care providers, I have heard nothing but praise for the Holland Farms staff and it's administration. Depending on your insurance and ability to pay, there are a wide variety of outside caregivers that provide services to Holland Farms residents: hospice, in-home medical care, 24/7 on call, massage, a podiatrist, vaccination clinic and more. These are individuals who travel to local assisted living/memory care facilities and are familiar with the wide range in quality, cleanliness, and staffing. I do not review often, but am posting this review to as many places as possible to give recognition where it is due. My grandma spent the last two years of her life in Holland Farms memory care. I could not recommend them highly enough. They meet each resident where they are at and acknowledge memory loss for everyone is different. There was constant activities: field trips to animal shelters and schools, visits to museums, meals out, bus and train rides, baking cookies, art projects, theme parties, and more. If it is more of a down day, the staff quickly pulls out coloring or trivia or will turn on a movie with popcorn. They frequently bring in people for religious services, music time, or story time.
