I gave birth to both of my kids here. My son in 2009 and my daughter in 2020. They're excellent, the staff is absolutely amazing and the hospital is clean, caring, organized. I trust them over closer hospitals in the area. Recently, we brought my 5 year old daughter to the emergency room. She had the flu with high fever temps and a terrible eye infection. She was admitted and had to stay four days and three nights. Cat scans, IV, blood samples, antibiotics. The pediatric part on the Ackerman floor was where we moved after a few hours in the emergency room. In the emergency room, Christina and Allyson were absolutely amazing and friendly. Their bedside manner and patience during a scary and difficult time did not go unnoticed. Thank You girls! Once we moved to the Ackerman pediatric unit

I have to give credit where it’s due to the team at Jersey Shore Medical Center. A family member of mine wasn’t happy with a few things concerning my care and wrote a review while I was in the hospital. At the time, I wasn’t even aware it had been posted. Later, the Head of Patient Advocacy and the Head of Housekeeping came by to check on me. At first I didn’t understand why, but looking back, I realized they were responding to that concern. What stood out to me was the level of professionalism and genuine care they showed. They approached the situation with respect and compassion, making sure my safety and comfort were a priority. My daughter had a procedure at the Mary V Black pavilion and I can’t say enough great things about the care she received! Jaclyn and Emma and all the other nurses were amazing! Jaclyn went above and beyond making my daughter comfortable and getting her bloodwork done (which isn’t easy) and Emma played music to help keep her calm! Dr Weinstein made us feel comfortable and explained everything! Overall a great experience with great care!

Went here because I needed emergency back surgery. The ER nurses were so horrible. Very unprofessional and under staffed. They put me in the middle of the hallway under a mirror so I can pee , people passing by and seeing me naked. Was taking to the other side of the emergency and I had the sweetest nurse ever. God bless her. She really cared for her patients. Got transported upstairs and the transporter and all the nurses on the 5th floor were amazing . Thank you. Got pre-op for surgery on the 4th floor and every nurse , doctor , even the anesthesiologist were all so nice. Thank you to the doctors that did my back surgery. My husband had spine surgery Dr.Lopez was amazing from start to finish. Such a great experience considering a hospital stay is usually not a choice. From the sign in with Ge-Ge and her humor put us at such ease. Dominique as a pre op nurse was amazing. I was able to stay with my husband and was very impressed with a nurse that went out of her way for us. Jenn 73535. The PA Cheryl was so helpful with explaining every thing to us. I give them 5 stars.
