Henry Ford-GoHealth Urgent Care

I visited this urgent care last Friday and was immediately told upon walking in that they “don’t do bloodwork or imaging here.” During my appointment, I felt rushed and not fully heard. As I was leaving, I noticed another patient being turned away because they were closing, which helped explain the hurried experience. I later saw my primary care physician. After a brief 10-minute(!) conversation (without needing bloodwork or imaging) I was given the appropriate prescription and began treatment right away. It’s disappointing to think this issue could have been addressed days earlier with a more thorough evaluation that I just didn’t receive from this location.

I’ve been to a lot of urgent care centers in the past. I don’t want to start a review with a negative comparison, but it is stark. Many urgent care centers don’t feel much like health care. This feels like a true health care experience. They took their time. They tried to provide the necessary immediate treatment as well as next steps and longer term health care planning. My Nurse Practitioner was Ezzi and he was the ultimate health professional. Thorough, practical and followed up by phone with additional info on labs with clear next steps. As if I saw my primary care physician. Beyond my expectations. I’d go back without question.

NP Laurie and her assistant were excellent. This was my first time visiting with my son due to his illness. The clinic was clean, fast, efficient, and provided great service. Highly recommended.

The two ladies at the front desk were welcoming and polite and the provider,G, was super nice. This will definitely be my go-to urgent care center if I ever have another emergency. I received 7 stitches and my visit was quick and painless!

Everyone who addressed my health issue was more than superb. This is not an Urgent Care facility as explained to me at the desk. They are a stand alone Emergency Medical Center. My particular issue was very rare for some of those who attended me. A Urologist would have been better to help my care.
