Blink Eyecare

A friend referred me to this place, and I called to schedule my appointment. I had the pleasure of speaking with Adriana, turns out we even share the same birthday! :-) I was super impressed by how quick and efficient she was. Normally, booking appointments can be a hassle, but Adriana made it seamless. I didn't have to repeat any details, she got everything right the first time. In just 7 minutes, she verified my insurance and had me all set for my appointment. Loved the service! My full review will follow after my visit, but the 5 stars are for Adriana's outstanding approach.

I’ve been going to Dr. Bodker at Blink Eyecare for over 10 years, and I can’t say enough good things. She’s incredibly knowledgeable and takes the time to really listen and explain everything in a way that makes sense. I’ve always felt like I’m in great hands with her. The whole team at Blink is warm, friendly, and on top of things. It never feels rushed or impersonal—they actually remember you and make the whole experience easy and comfortable. Whether it’s a regular eye exam or picking out new glasses, they’ve always been super helpful and patient. After all these years, I still recommend Blink to anyone looking for great eye care. They truly care about their patients, and it shows.

I have been going here for over 6 years now and it's time to post an update. Guess what? Blink Eyecare and Dr. Bodker are still absolutely amazing and she has the best staff working with her. I thoroughly enjoy any appointment I have because of this. Hands down still the best in the area! The best in the area. Dr Bodker is great and clearly enjoys what she is doing. Ask any questions you can and you'll get great answers. Beth picks out fantastic frames and helps you narrow them down. I am so glad I found an optometrist who is happy at their job!

They do a really good job, but won't take no for an answer on the up-charges. I told them I wanted the most basic lenses covered by my insurance. After saying no to up-charges multiple times and thinking I finally got the cheapest option, I look at the bill and there's $85 of up-charges on just the lenses. The exam always goes smoothly and is well done but the pressure to pay more is intense. I chose to pay extra on the frames knowingly but making it so difficult to get the basic lenses is deceitful and isn't fair to people with anxiety that can only say no so many times before giving up. The $85 is the lowest I've managed to get it. The first year was $150. The second year was significantly more, but I can't find the receipt. And this year I went in with the goal to not get any lens up

This is by far the best eye doctor I’ve ever been to. There was one time where I showed up to my appointment at like 5:10 and they closed at 5:30 and they took such good care of me. I told them I would reschedule but they stayed a couple of minutes late to take care of me. The care they have for their patients is next level!! ❤️
