I would highly recommend your ER as the one place not to go to if you want care they left me there for three hours in pain. They were rude and when the doctor finally came in, I told her I had Addison’s. What are you doing here she said I’m here because my arm hurts my hand, she hasn’t said well what are you doing here? I said I just told you I have Addison’s. She then walked off. I told her if you want an answer call U Of them and ask for Andrew technology she said no endocrinology.

I will say upon arrival I sat in the waiting not even 10 minutes, I was impressed with getting to triage so quickly. Unfortunately, from there, it went downhill. Not going to discuss my symptoms but for me to spend 9 hours in a chair that doesn’t even fully recline with my symptoms was absolutely ridiculous. I wasn’t ever able to elevate my feet, wasn’t able to extend my upper body and placement of my arm with an IV on a hard chair ended up causing numbness in my left arm. We were told a corporate person removed the beds and put all chairs in. I would love their number! One, patient’s comfort and 2, the body mechanics for your employees. They should not have to bend over trying to do proper treatment, such as an IV. The time it took for everything to process was inadequate, waiting for a

My husband received excellent and compassionate care here recently. I won’t be discussing his symptoms, but he had the needed tests and answers from a doctor within about 3 hours of arrival, as well as a plan of action that got the situation resolved very quickly. We are grateful for the care he received and that he is recovering well.

Yikes. They need help here. My three kids are all competitive level gymnasts and accidents/injuries happen. Unfortunately more than I'd like & this is the closest hospital. Pain control & xrays are always priority. But geesh....be ready to wait. And wait. And be ready for terrible xray views too. Last time, when my son (9 at the time) broke his ankle...they took such terrible views, you could hardly see his fracture. They insisted on reducing the ankle themselves & casting it. Thank God every nurse I know said, "No. Run. Do not let a resident touch his ankle.That's a teaching hospital." Thankfully we left & went to Mott Children's hospital, where they were very unhappy with how Genesys wrapped his ankle for transport. No padding!! He was in misery. Daughter had to lay on the floor in the emergency room because they don’t have beds anymore. For some reason they only have chairs in the rooms and my daughter was in excruciating pain and just wanted to lay down. Most ridiculous thing I’d ever seen. Had to ask for blankets and a pillow.
