Had quad tendon surgery due to an acute tear. Dr. Lis told me I had 72 hours to repair it before it would retract so he completed the repair. After 8 months I went back because my knee still felt weak when going up and down stairs. He took an x-ray and assured me everything was fine. He even told me to continue training as normal and if it starts to hurt just back off a little. After getting a second opinion and an MRI, it was revealed that there were 2 spots in my knee where the tendon was not attached. I was also told that I had 1-2 weeks to get it repaired and not hours. I had to have the entire thing redone which put me out for another 6-8 months. I reached out to the office via email and never received a response.

I attempted to schedule an appointment with Dr. Lis, but the experience was frustrating from the start. When I called toward the end of the day, the staff member who answered, Leah, was increasingly rude and unhelpful. My doctor hadn’t yet sent both of my MRIs, and rather than offering any assistance or guidance, Leah responded with attitude and gave me conflicting instructions on what I needed to do before scheduling an appointment. By the end of the call, I was left without any real help and was simply told to have my doctor send the MRI and call back in a week or so. Two weeks later, I called again and, unfortunately, spoke to the same staff member. To my shock, she claimed that she had told the doctor I gave her attitude and that I had hung up on her—both of which were completely fals

Dr. Lis is amazing,caring, listening, and understanding. He performed 2 total knee replacements. The first one had no pain blocking due to previous surgery, Recovery room staff did an amazing job on maintaining my pain after surgery. I was walking 20 minutes after surgery, 2300 steps before leaving the hospital 6 hours after surgery. My 2nd knee replacement surgery was performed 8 weeks later. Short note: I had pain blocking done, and that, in my opinion, doesn't work. Anyways the surgery went great, and I had the same great results. Thank you so much, Dr. Lis, for the first time in over 25 years, I am completely pain-free in my knees. His staff is also amazing 👏

Dr Lis did my knee surgery in March and did an outstanding job, truly exceeded expectations. I hope Dr Lis always gets green lights when he drives & I hope his favorite drink is always somehow magically stocked in his fridge ✨️

I tore my ACL and couldn't imagine having a better care experience. Dr. Lis has been awesome every step of the way, he's clearly knowledgeable in his field and radiates positivity. His confidence allowed me to relax and be assured that I really will come back 100%. As far as the actual surgery went, I experienced practically ZERO pain in the days following the procedure. It's also amazing that I have maybe 3 absolutely tiny incisions, very minimal scarring, and my knee looks fantastic! Honestly, don't think twice about choosing Dr. Lis for an all around excellent experience.
