I have been a client of Chuck Carpenter of Hell’s Kitchen Rolfing since 2014. The man is intuitive and has never let me down over ten years when treating plantar fasciitis, knee pain, carpal tunnel, knotted calves, ankle pain, tennis arm, and back pain. He has also been instrumental in keeping me pain free without his care by recommending wearable solutions like compression socks, better shoes, orthodics, and ankle, knee, and elbow braces (and a fantastic foot massager). Two thumbs, ten toes up, for Hell’s Kitchen Rolfing.
Chuck Carpenter at Hells Kitchen Rolfing has helped me enormously! I had a severe accident involving my elbow and was not able to achieve full motion through traditional PT. If I had not found Hells Kitchen Rolfing I would still have issues. Chuck helped me achieve more flexibility in the joint, a reduction in recurrent swelling and normal mobility. I cannot say enough about the improvement and how it affected my quality of life. Highly recommended!
Chuck is really good at Rolfing, he helped me to solve my issues. I feel much better after just a session. Will recommend him to my friends and family and you guys who is reading this review. 5 star 100%
So far I have had two rolfing appointments with Chuck and have already noticed a difference after the first appt. I had decreased pain in my back, less stiffness in my shoulders and neck, increased mobility in my problem hip (achieving a range of motion I haven’t been able to achieve since surgery seven years ago), and I can almost swear my back is less curved and I’m able to stand up straighter. In general I have a low pain tolerance and cannot even handle a strong massage. Chuck uses the perfect pressure to get out the tension in the muscles and stretch them out in a non painful way. Rolfing has an incorrect reputation for being very aggressive, but when done properly it is completely manageable and actually feels great. He can read the body just by looking at it and takes his time to ad
This review has nothing to do with Chuck's quality of work. Saw him for an initial appointment recently, and he asked that I give him an update the following day. Unfortunately, I hadn't gotten my new mattress yet and fell asleep quickly on too thin of a pillow, so when I woke up the next morning, the areas he had worked on were very uncomfortable, but I knew that was on me and not him. I sent him an update as such. After not hearing back for two days, I asked what appointments he had available. The next day he basically told me that because I'm highly sensitive, he doesn't feel he can work on me anymore. And while I felt his work was and would continue to be strongly helpful, he's certainly in his right to refuse service, as weird as that is. The bigger problem is that in asking fo
