Hebrew Rehabilitation Center - NewBridge

My mom lived at the Assisted Living at Newbridge on the Charles for 5 years before transferring to the Long Term Care area or HRC - Dedham. Her health had declined in the last year and a half of living at The Assisted Living so we decided she needed more care. This was not an easy decision because she needed specific help and I was nervous about her receiving the assistance after moving. Well there was no need to be nervous. It is now two years later and my mother has flourished. She is 94 years old and in the two years she has been at HRC-Dedham she has actually improved. The nursing and aide staff takes fabulous care of her. The Life Enhancement staff puts together programming that is just what people living in Long Term Care needs and the Expressive Therapy programming is exceptional. W

My mother has been in Long-Term Chronic Care at NewBridge on the Charles for 1 1/2 yrs. I have been very pleased with the care she's received - the aides, nurses, doctors, Life Enhancement, and other support staff are a special group. While no facility is perfect, I've seen many senior care facilities over the years, and this is definitely the best I've seen. Their response to the pandemic, in terms of balancing physical needs and infection control with residents' social/emotional needs, has been impressive. I'm glad my mother is there.
