ConvenientMD Urgent Care

I had terrible pain in my ear and blockage.and had streaks of blood in my ear. I Went there on Tuesday Feb 17. Was told I had some wax. Had nurse clean it out. NP came back and looked again said it’s fine. I said it’s not it hurts so bad and it’s totally blocked. She said go get an antihistamine. It’s a virus give it a week or 10 days. Next day, Wednesday, both eyes turned bright red. Tried to ignore it cuz she said my ear issue was a virus. Thursday - my ear still killing my eyes beat red. Friday, today same thing. Ear the worse out of all of it. My family told me to go back to convenient MD that the NP should have gave me an antibiotic. I went back -was told an hour wait. I told the receptionist that I was there on Tuesday for a blocked painful ear and it’s still bad and n

I had a very disappointing experience at this location. Despite having a scheduled appointment, I waited over an hour to be seen, even though there was no visible line or crowd in the waiting area. What made the situation worse was the complete lack of communication—no updates, no explanation for the delay, and no acknowledgment of the appointment time. For an urgent care facility that advertises convenience and efficiency, this level of disorganization is unacceptable. Patients come here because they are unwell and expect timely care, especially when they take the extra step to schedule an appointment. Unfortunately, that expectation was not met at all. Very reasonable wait time and accommodating staff. Had an x-ray tech available the day I went and diagnosed me same night. I would recommend highly. Especially if you can and verify x-ray tech availability and that’s the service you need. Very sweet staff and friendly once you get it. Wait time very reasonable even with busy waiting room.

Though, thankfully, we haven’t needed to access urgent care often, this location has been our go-to for us. They have always been friendly, efficient and professional. Today was no exception! The staff was terrific but I feel I need to give a special shout-out to NP Rose for really going the extra mile for me today. I truly hated to burden her and the staff with what was a unique and time sensitive situation for me but she was empathetic, compassionate, provided top notch care and really came through for me to get the treatment I needed. Thank you, NP Rose and staff!

Issue: booked an appointment for my mom who was visiting. The clinic’s computer queueing system had an issue. We were “lost on the queue” and waited for 45 min despite having an appointment. I had to intervene and flag the problem. If you see walk ins getting seen before you, definitely check with the front desk. We all make mistakes, but the receptionist unapologetic attitude completely rubbed me the wrong way. When you make a mistake and drop the ball on a patient, explain what happened and apologize, and we move on. Unfortunately it wasn’t the treatment I received. Luckily, the providers were excellent. They explained the hiccups, apologized, and were efficient and pleasant in the healthcare part of the experience.
