UPDATE: Dec 2025, since Dr. Kalaher left, it is no longer worth it to go here. Let me start with Dr. Kalaher is by far one of the best doctors I have ever seen. The main reason for the 3/5 stars is because their phones are only answered about 10% of the time, if your lucky. Usually it takes me calling multiple days in order to get ahold of anyone. This has been happening for years. There have been times where I have had to drive up there in order to make an appointment.

I have to start off with the fact that Doctor Kalaher is the best doctor I have ever had. The reason for this rating is you cannot get an appointment sooner than a month out for her. Plus, my husband got his appointment canceled last minute and they couldn't schedule him for another month out. If you are like most people, you probably need a doctor within a month of the problem. Also, her receptionists are occasionally awful. Some of them are extremely rude. I was trying to schedule an appointment after an emergency hospital visit, so I was sick and tired, and all I got was sass. I, unfortunately, am going to find a new doctor, and if you are looking for one, no matter what, don't come here. They have too many patients to handle in such a small office.

This new doctor thinks her crap doesn’t stink, she has herself on a mighty high horse where she doesn’t know how to really help people because she is more concerned with walking the line for cultural standards and expectations she actually argued with someone that is trying to put their life back together and put another doctor down that use to work there who was the best doctor that town has ever seen…Melissa K., Laura you are not even 1/4 of the caring compassionate woman she is.

Horrible. I am uninsured and spoke at length to the person who answered the phone about self pay options when I made my appointment and was told there was a option to be billed and make payments. When I arrived for my appointment, I was told I had to pay then and there. After telling them how desperately I needed to see a doctor and being very up front about my financial situation at the time I made the appointment, there was zero compassion for THEIR mistake in the day of my appointment. Steer clear if you need somewhere that might show any compassion, or at least say "I'm sorry".

Dr. Kalaher is compassionate, thorough and very knowledgable. Her office always seems to run pretty much on schedule when I am there, and I like being able to contact her directly with questions through their patient portal. I would recommend Dr. K to anyone looking for a local family doctor.
