HCA Florida Westside Hospital

I honestly had a really great experience here. From the moment I got admitted, Nurse Valery, Nurse Ashley, and my first nurse ( I’m super bad with names sorry) made me feel completely safe and taken care of. They were all super kind, friendly, and really knowledgeable. They explained things clearly and checked in on me constantly. They made what could’ve been a stressful hospital stay feel way more comfortable ,almost like a hotel instead of an emergency visit. My GI doctor, Dr. Guttman, was amazing. I seriously feel like a million bucks now. He handled everything confidently and made me feel reassured the whole time. Dr. Mohammad was also great. He made sure I understood everything that was happening and what the plan was. I never felt confused or out of the loop, which meant a lot. I’

An amazing experience - for a hospital visit. Nursing staff on the third floor were the most professional, attentive and caring individuals that I have experienced in a medical environment. I was highly impressed by their knowledge and professionalism It left me with a feeling that I was in good hands and seriously helped speed my recovery. From the nurses to the technicians to the cleaners I received some of the best treatment and care I have experienced during a hospital stay hospital stay. Genuine care, knowledge and attention to detail were the standard , and it was very much appreciated, bless you all. The third floor day and night shift personnel were extremely noteworthy. I would recommend this hospital and this care team to my family and friends.

This was my first time every being admitted to a hospital and I am so glad it was HCA Westside. All of the medical staff down to environmental services were so nice and welcoming, I felt as if I was among friends who wanted nothing but the best for me. I also want to give a shout out to one of my nurses, Alexandria Cason. She went far and beyond to make sure I had the of best care and that everything done for me was done in a timely manner, this hospital is the luckiest to have her one their service. BEST NURSE EVER!!!!!

Natika is THAT nurse fr. She got the bubbliest personality and made me feel so comfortable the whole time I was here. She super kind, patient, and really listens instead of rushing you. You can tell she genuinely cares about her patients. I really hope management sees this and appreciates her, because nurses like her make the whole hospital experience way better. If you come here, pray you get Natika she gone take good care of you every time.

Steven Mountjoy, the Nurse Manager, made an incredible difference in my care at Westside Hospital. From the very beginning, he took the time to patiently educate me about a medication I had never taken before, which helped ease my fears and made me feel safe and confident. His kindness, warmth, and genuine compassion stood out immediately. Steven made me feel truly seen and cared for, not just as a patient but as a person. He regularly checked in on me, and that meant more than I can express. Knowing he was there and cared so deeply brought me so much comfort. I am incredibly grateful for his dedication, empathy, and the positive impact he had on my experience.
