My 100-year-old dad has been a resident at Hayward Hills Health Care Center for four years, and I can say wholeheartedly that the entire staff has been a true blessing to our family. He has advanced dementia and is fully CNA-dependent, yet every single day he is cared for with gentle hands, warm hearts, and genuine compassion. The team at Hayward Hills keeps him consistently clean, groomed, and—most importantly—in good spirits. Knowing he is safe, comfortable, and surrounded by people who genuinely care is the greatest gift our family could receive. Over the years, the staff has been incredibly accommodating and in constant communication with us. They keep us updated, and answer questions without hesitation. It was hard at first but, the wonderful staff helped me feel right at home. I was self conscious about wearing a dapper but the helpful staff helped me get past all that masculine drama. Soon I was just like family. Everybody knew my name and everyone was helpful. And with all the beautiful ladies there it was hard to keep my mind on getting well. But to be honest without everyone's help. I wouldn't have made it. To the Doctor's , Nurse's and all the staff. Thank you for making this experience a good and pleasant one. "My dad was under the care of Hayward Hills Health Care Center for five weeks following his hospital discharge, and we are so grateful for the progress he made. Despite a language barrier—my dad speaks very little English—the entire staff was friendly and inclusive toward him. The therapists, nurses, and CNAs were patient and helpful, always taking the time to answer my questions or provide recommendations. The therapy team, in particular, is clearly passionate about what they do. Thanks to their dedication, my dad’s condition improved significantly; he can now walk much better with a walker and has the confidence to walk three times a day at home, whereas he used to avoid it entirely. He is now safely back home, and we couldn't be happier with the care he received."

This place is really sad. The residents look like they’re just left to wither away. Unfortunately, I made the mistake of sending my dad here. He was fully conscious and not that old, sent here for PT, and I trusted the staff to take care of him while I was at work. One day, during a short visit, I found out he had been rushed to the ER. Even though I had given them my number multiple times, their excuse for not reaching me was that the number on file was wrong. My dad ended up in the ER with a severe UTI that had turned into a bloodstream infection, which means he’d been left in his diaper for who knows how long. When I got to the hospital, I was shocked to see he had bedsores all over, which shows he wasn’t being changed regularly. He stayed in the ICU for almost a month because of this

Staff is the best. They are always very helpful. Social service staff is great. We tried 15 other places and my dad who is 101 has always been treated well. We are very happy
