Hartley Pharmacy

Posting this review on behalf of my son: I’ve been using Hartley Pharmacy for about three years now, and they’re an incredibly personable, customer oriented small business. The type of place that’ll learn your name, while still providing top notch pharmaceutical products as well as great suggestions when needed. They’ve always filled my orders, and when there have been issues, they’ve been able to find a solution. If you want the polar opposite experience of being just another number at a major pharmaceutical chain, I highly recommend Hartley.

The best Pharmacist and workers. I honestly down to my heart love the service, it is so heart warming. They treat me and friends like family. The pharmacist is always caring and takes time out of her area to accommodate me. The location is very convenient as well!

Hartley Pharmacy lost my trust in one visit. I went in with a valid prescription and a national drug plan that covers my medication. First they told me they “don’t take Medicaid,” which wasn’t even the insurance I was using. Once I showed them my actual insurance card, they shifted their explanation and said they weren’t filling Adderall due to “shortages” and “over-saturation.” The story changed the moment I proved their first excuse was wrong. I walked in trying to support a local business. I left realizing they weren’t being transparent and simply didn’t want to deal with a controlled-substance prescription. If that’s their policy, they should say so upfront instead of giving conflicting reasons. It was disappointing and unnecessarily stressful. I won’t be returning. 2nd Response to t

The absolute best pharmacy in New York. The pharmacist and her staff are people who actually care about you and your family and your prescriptions— it is not like a Walgreens or Duane Reade where everything is totally impersonal and corporate. If you are a regular, they will know you, and you will be able to get to them on the phone when you need them. Absolutely professional, and incredibly reliable. I have been a customer for more than 10 years, and I will continue as long as possible.

I’ve been coming here to pick up medicine for my mom because the location is so convenient. The service is always fast and reliable. The lovely couple who runs the pharmacy are incredibly kind and helpful, always providing excellent customer service.
