Harris Teeter Pharmacy

You could not have a more caring staff. We use them not just for ourselves, but also for our dogs. Whenever I get my medications refilled, they always will ask do we have anything we need for our puppies. Last year we had to put down 2 of our dogs, they stopped and asked how I was doing! As a Medicare Insurance Broker, I send all of my clients because of the caring and thoughtful staff.

After 3 different trips of trying to get the full amount of syringes that was prescribed they gave us wrong ones. Called and they said it would be more money. The lady proceeded to tell me that I ordered the wrong ones. After 3 trips decided to move prescriptions to a different pharmacy. The pharmacy tech hung up very rudely.

Pharmacy staff rude and unprofessional. Adrian the pharmacy manager seems unhinged and will lord your prescriptions over you and will make up new rules as she pleases. Cannot keep staff-must be due to aforementioned pharmacy manager and her inflated ego and nasty behavior. Wish Eric was still there-he was the best! Definitely gone down hill since his departure. Love Harris Teeter for everything except the uncouthness from some in the pharmacy.

Constant staff churn. Questionable employee competence in most cases. If you call the pharmacy five times, you will probably get five different people and five different answers. Unholy triad of insurance company, physician(s), and THIS pharmacy ensures frustrating and unsatisfying experience although I will point out that that pharmacy is almost always the worst offender. Pharmacy is incapable of handling the simplest of non-standard situations. I am done with Pinehurst Harris Teeter Pharmacy and more than likely all Harris Teeter Pharmacies.

I have had multiple issues with this pharmacy! They are not timely in any means. I have one prescription, synthroid. It is a very commonly prescribed medication. I submitted a refill request on Sunday and was told they needed to contact the provider for a refill as I was out of refills. Received a message from Harris teeter that my prescription would be ready on Wednesday. The pharmacy calls me at 4:45 on Wednesday (my dr. Office is now closed) asking me for the contact info for the provider. Tell me my prescription will be ready on Tuesday (today is Wednesday). I am out of pills and they had no solution to the matter.
