Harlem Dental Plaza is a complete mess and extremely unprofessional. I arrived at 1:00 PM and did not get seen until 2:55 PM. It felt like I was the last patient of the day by the time I was finally called, the office was empty and I was the only one there. I was sent to the back with no greeting and no politeness just “what’s your name” and “hang your stuff up.” I then sat in the chair in the back for about 30 minutes waiting to be seen, with no explanation, no updates, and no communication at all. The entire situation was uncomfortable, awkward, and highly unprofessional. The machinery looked old and outdated, and the periodontist, Dr. Niderman, was coughing all over the place, touching the instruments without any gloves, putting his hands into patients’s mouths as if nothing was wrong

I wish I could give this place ZERO ⭐️. After waiting an hour and a half just to get called in, they stuck me in the dentist chair and left me there for another 1 hour and 10 minutes with no updates, nothing. Completely unprofessional. I literally had to walk out because it was clear they didn’t value my time or my health. Worst experience I’ve ever had at any dentist office.

Save your smile and find another dentist/ Periodontist. Staff unwilling or unable to explain the need for procedures attempted. Nasty attitude when I demanded further explanation. Would give zero starts if able.

I went because it was an emergency but I would not return. It is unsanitary, the dentist don’t make you feel comfortable. They had a dental tech that is nice but she needs to be in a different environment. The equipment is not up to date and they did dental work on me they could not finish. I don’t recommend anyone go there.

I was looking for a dentist to help me with a flipper for one missing tooth on my smile line. I received this dentist’s number from a patient who frequents the practice, so I decided to call this morning to schedule an appointment. From the very beginning, the experience was disappointing. The receptionist answered the phone with just a casual “Hello,” without identifying the office as a dental facility. I had to ask if I had even reached a dentist’s office, to which she replied, “Yes,” in a very nonchalant tone. I then asked if they accepted my insurance. Instead of asking for more details about my needs or guiding me through the process, she simply asked what insurance I had. After I told her, she responded, “Yes, we take that,” with no follow-up questions, no professionalism, and no e
