Hamlin Pediatric Dentistry

I have always had such a great experience at Hamlin Pediatric Dentistry! Staff is always nice and welcoming. Zachary is so great with our daughter and takes his time to make sure she is comfortable with everything he is doing!

The dentist and most of the staff were pleasant, professional, and genuinely great with kids. We were initially very impressed by the way they interacted with our child and explained procedures thoroughly and kindly. The dentist in particular was detailed, personable, and clearly cares about patient comfort and understanding. Unfortunately, our experience was completely overshadowed by one staff member—the financial coordinator, who appeared to be in her 40s. Her interpersonal skills were shockingly poor for someone in a client-facing role. She spoke to our child in a harsh, condescending tone, snapping at him as if she were a drill instructor rather than someone working in pediatric care. Just because he didn't understand the question she was asking, he looked towards us for guidance. Sh

Very disappointing experience. This pediatric dentist was not gentle and showed very little patience with my child. From the beginning, the interaction felt rushed and tense, which only made my child more anxious instead of comforted. A pediatric dentist should know how to communicate calmly and kindly with children, but that was clearly lacking here. What made the experience worse is that the doctor stopped the appointment midway and simply referred us to another dentist, without any real effort to adjust, reassure, or try a different approach. This felt unprofessional and stressful for both the child and the parent. If your child needs extra care, patience, or reassurance, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere. A pediatric dental visit should not leave a child upset or afraid.

The place is nice and very welcoming. I love the dentist and the staff as well. We didn't know that our son had a liptie. Thanks to the doctor.

I can’t say enough awesome stuff about this place!! From phone calls to book to check out the staff is phenomenal. Have a very nervous seven-year-old when it comes to going to the dentist and I couldn’t have asked for a better hygienist. She was so patient and so kind even through all the tears. Both of my kids did awesome and my three year-old can’t wait to go back!
