Had an eye exam after neglecting it for 10 or so years with some problems I needed investigated, Dr.Hamakiotes was extremely thorough and highly knowledgeable about not only optometry but other proxy medical disciplines as well. The level of detail she went into after running tests was a wonderful change of pace when compared to the usual "in and out" attitude you feel at most doctor's. Their office has very up to date technology, and the staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly to boot.

I've been seeing Dr. Hamkiotes pretty much all my adult life. A friend recommended her to me after I had a bad experience with a bargain-basement eye doctor who tried to push Lasik on me... I am very near-sighted and have a pretty rocky family history with eye health, so who I see is particularly important to me. Dr Hamakiotes is: Knowledgeable and passionate, always aware of the latest developments and options. Patient and patient-focused. I never leave feeling like I didn't get to ask every question I have. More than any other eye ophthalmologist or optometrist, Dr. Hamakiotes takes incredible care in her examinations and in her conclusions as to remedies. Her knowledge, her prescriptions, her patience, her caring puts her leagues ahead of any other eye doctor i have seen, and in years before I saw her, I saw many others. Besides being a superb physician, Dr. Hamakiotes is a lovely person, gracious person. Anyone who is becomes her patient is indeed very lucky.
