I can’t say enough wonderful things about this pediatric office. I was a patient here growing up, and now my son is cared for by the same practice. That alone speaks volumes. The doctors and staff are kind, patient, and truly compassionate. They take the time to listen, answer every question, and never make you feel rushed. Dr. Sakowski listens to every question & concern and takes the time to explain things to you thoroughly and give you any kind of reassurance you may need. I wouldn’t trust my son’s care anywhere else!

I started taking my newborn here when he was born in September. The first few appointments were alright we saw Dr.s. At my son’s 2 month check up he told me to start rice cereal at 3.5 months and veggie purès at 4.5 months. Okay no biggie. Today at his 4 month visit he asked about the rice cereals and told me to start purés at 6 months. So which one is it? Next We have been doing extensive research on vaccinations, the ingredients and long term effects of them. So we decided that we want to hold off until my son is around 2 years old. Today we went in for his 4month checkup and the dr tells me that we missed a vaccine, I said yes we decided that we want to hold off on further vaccines until he is 2. I have been taking my children to Hackettstown Pediatrics for 8+ years, and we have always had a positive experience!! From routine newborn checkups to overnight sick on-call emergency calls; both physicians have always treated my children with upmost priority.

I’ve been coming here since the day they opened, when Dr. K took the practice over from Dr. Canlas about 12 years ago. I cannot say enough good about both Dr. K and Dr. Sakowski, who joined her a few years later. Both have tremendous bedside manner. Both take the time with you and your child to chat and answer questions. Both administer all shots themselves, as opposed to having the nurses do it. I’ve never had to wait more than 10 minutes from walking in to seeing the doctor. I drive 30 minutes to see them because they’re that wonderful and my kids (who are now 16, 14 and 11) have never ever been afraid to see them. Dr. K fills out all sports papers for school quickly and without charging you, and if you need them when they’re on call, they get back to you within minutes of calling the af

Dr. K is absolutely amazing and has always been incredibly warm, responsive, and helpful. It’s clear she does what she does bc she truly cares about children, not about churning through as many kids as possible to make as much $ as possible. She always does her best to offer advice and treatment without us needing to come in (if safe and appropriate). The staff is nice and the waiting room wait is always short. We drive to Dr K from 40 mins away bc we love her so much and were unable to find a doctor we liked near our new home after moving three years ago. I am not as fond of her partner, Dr. S, but we usually see Dr. K so it’s not really an issue.
