Hackensack Meridian Urgent Care - Hazlet

I went to this Urgent Care center due to the fact that I had a bad asthma attack. My boyfriend brought me there. The doctor who was there, Dr. Heraa Chaudhry is awesome. She told me exactly what would happen w/the steriod injection I got. She said it will only hurt for 10 min - but it did hurt all day. That's ok. I have a high tolerance to pain. She also gave me oral pills which I had to start the next day if I was wheezing. She answered all of my boyfriend's questions & mine as well. She was so pleasant & friendly to Elliot & I. She was so patient w/us. She was going to open my bottle of water (that was super sweet) but Elliot did it for me. She said we could wait in the room that I was examined in. We left after that because I did feel better. Dr. Chaudhry was a pleasure

This is our first visit to a Hackensack Meridian Urgent Care facility and we were pleasantly surprised by their efficiency and friendly staff. Dr. Taras took his time with me and prescribed some medicine to make me get better.

I went to this urgent care yesterday due to sudden pressure and ringing in my left ear. I am leaving for vacation and knew I needed to be seen the same day. I arrived around 3:10 and they close at 4. From the moment I walked in, the young woman at the front desk seemed visibly annoyed. She appeared exasperated with every person who walked in or called, sighing and reacting negatively after each question. It immediately felt unwelcoming and stressful, especially when you are already worried about your health. When I was called back, the male nurse was kind and professional, which I appreciated. I have spinal stenosis and scoliosis and hurt my back. First words out of his obnoxious mouth assuming Im a drug addict was 'i cant give you pain medication" iI said I didnt even ask you for pain meds I asked for help. I needed prednisone. After explaining to him I have a hard time with my stomach with prednisone and need a low dose (usuall y 4mg) he proceeds to write a prescription for 10 mg 2xs a day for 5 days which is a crazy high dose. He also said he didnt believe in tapering the dose which even the pharmacist thought was an odd prescription. No wonder it's always empty. Spare your time and go to a real doctor at a better urgent care.

Hackensack Meridian urgent care in Hazlet New Jersey. Did an amazing job. I was there maybe a half hour and the dr helped me with what I had for an infection very attentive with what I needed as to what was going on with me. I am feeling a lot better now with the medication that was prescribed to me with what I had for an infection. I greatly appreciate the help thank you
