H-E-B Pharmacy

Very convenient pharmacy drive thru, but they are always so busy that it takes a good while to pickup your prescriptions. They try to get everyone through and I know it has to be hard at times, but it is discouraging to drive up and see four or five cars in line. This has nothing bad on HEB, they are smiling faces that work hard to make sure you are happy and have asked any questions that you have. The app is marvelous and very easy to navigate. It has a pay ahead option to streamline the process of going through the line which is awesome.

This pharmacy is open late, but typically doesn't have much in stock. If you need seizure meds or ER meds, this pharmacy is known for long backorders. Insurance will not let me order two weeks ahead of time. It would take us 3 hours to drive to Bee Cave and 4 hours to Austin. Staff usually will tell you they are overworked and don't like their job. The drive thru line is extremely slow.

This five star review is for Shannon in the pharmacy. I have had the pleasure of interacting with her on several occasions and each of them have been great from a customer service perspective. She has a “happy to help” attitude and she knows her stuff. Any time there is any issues with insurance or helping with good RX discounts, she is able to handle with ease. All the while, she will be aiding the staff around her and answering phones at the same time. HEB and the Marble Falls customers are lucky to have her.

I am extremely disappointed with the Marble Falls HEB pharmacy. I just read a few previously posted reviews and several of them mentioned poor communication. Yesterday my wife went through the drive through to picked up a prescription. The guy at the window mumbled something about the prescription not being covered by insurance. My wife asked for clarification and the pharmacy worker mumbled the same thing again. When she got home she called the insurance company and they said yes they do cover that particular med but only for 21 pills a month not the entire 30 that the prescription called for. The next day my wife drove the 60 miles round trip back to the Marble Falls HEB to try and see if the pharmacy would correct the situation and reimburse her for the 21 pills she was forced to pay fo

Best prices, longest wait. Their prices are far better than most other pharmacies, so the wait might be worth it. But if you go through the drive through make sure you don’t have anywhere to be. It’s takes at least 5 minutes per car, sometimes 10. I have no idea why but it is so much slower than any other pharmacy drive through than I’ve ever been to. And there are 2 lanes. Still takes forever.
