Gwinnett Pediatric & Adult Eye Center

From the moment we walked in the staff was amazing! Further, Dr. Mixon, took her time and explained things to us about our son’s vision that had never been explained to us. Now we have clear understanding of his vision and a plan to get the best outcome. This place has been a blessing!

First ever eye visit was a success! My youngest ended up needing glasses as I anticipated. She had some big emotions to say the least, but the staff and doctor were very supportive!

From start to finish, our experience was exceptional. The front desk staff was welcoming and efficient, the clinical team was kind and attentive (Claudia was absolutely wonderful!), and Dr. Mixon was outstanding. Everyone was incredibly patient and clearly experienced in working with children of this age (son is 3.5) , which made such a difference for our family. We felt comfortable, cared for, and confident in the care provided. I truly couldn’t be more pleased and highly recommend this practice!

Took my 3 year old for an exam because he might have astigmatism and they confirmed it here. Janette was super patient with him even though he cried because he didn’t want the drops in his eyes. We had to try twice and everyone was so nice and patient. They have a nice little area for kids to play with toys or books. Dr Mixon was amazing. She was born to be a pediatric doctor. She was so energetic and made my son feel safe and make him less nervous about the visit. Would definitely recommend her!

She is always so friendly, patient, and truly takes the time to see both me and my children. She is incredibly kid-friendly and makes every visit feel comfortable and stress-free, which means so much as a parent. My kids actually enjoy going to their appointments. The front desk staff is just as wonderful — welcoming, helpful, and organized from check-in to check-out. You can really tell this office cares about their patients. We always leave feeling well taken care of and confident in the care we receive. Highly recommend!
