Gundersen Moundview Hospital

My Dr appts were great, but the PHARMACY?? Less than 1 star if I could. I've had nothing but headaches lately. I went to grab prescriptions today, got a text Monday saying ready to pick up, but when I arrived NONE had been filled. I was the only customer, they were NOT busy! He told me to wait which I didn't have time for (hence the texts) just a few weeks ago I got the WRONG prescriptions, showed them my current ones and said I wasn't even in the system. Ok I've been going there for 5 years. This will be addressed through administration. This is Not appropriate!!

My mother moved to a Gunderson swing bed a few days ago. The care and professionalism of the nurses and aides are exceptional. The staff are meticulous to ensure that all her needs are met The physical therapy and occupational staff are patient, thorough and compassionate. And the meals they provide are both tasty and nutritious. The facility is clean and modernized.

Although the majority of the staff at this location have always been professional, my phone conversation from today was exactly the opposite. Two women on their staff were very rude and condescending. They led me to believe my health was less important than their policy. They also totally ignored my request to identify themselves. If an alternative clinic existed here, I would transfer.

Unfortunately, I have been to the ER quite often lately. For my daughter. For my husband. For my friend. Each time they were taken back into a room right away. The nurses were fabulous. They were kind and thorough. (And have the patience of a saint!) My friend did need to be transferred to another hospital as she needed a trauma center, but they stabilized her before transport. This is a great small town hospital.

I have two issues, first being the eye clinic. Exam was good but was talked into less expensive lens. Replaced both lens twice as they scratched so easily. Then went to Walmart and haven't a scratch since I recently received physical therapy. I went twice with the last visit the therapist only spending 10 minutes actually working on me. I had to ask for an ice pack after her 10 minutes. Would not recommend either of these departments
