Gretna Eye & Aesthetics

This clinic has changed, for the worse. The doctor is good but front of house/ billing/receptionist staff truly does not care about the patient experience or patients at all. After submitting paperwork multiple times and asking them for 3+ months if they can let me know if my insurance was approved they ignored me, let me drive 2+ hours to an appointment just to share the insurance was denied, day of. They then acted like not being prepared to pay 4-5 thousand out of pocket was my problem not theirs. The customer/patient serving staff act like non aesthetic patients are not worth their time. No patient care or kindness from the staff other than the doctor(who I do still think is a good doctor). I would not recommend

As an eye doctor myself, I hold very high standards for eye care. I attended a conference and heard Dr. Chapman's lecture on pediatric eye care, specifically about near-sightedness. Since then, I was also fortuneate to listen to her speak on a podcast about kids' vision. She is so knowledgeable that she is teaching other doctors! I'm impressed with her expertise and her commitment to excellence. Her patients are so lucky to be in her care!

Sunday evening I got a foreign body in my eye. They got me in Monday morning right away. Dr. Chapman kept me calm and got it out right away. The ladies were so helpful and friendly and very informational. I also paid what I was quoted. 10/10 recommend!!

As a healthcare provider myself, I cannot recommend Dr. Chapman enough. I have been seeing her as long as I can remember since middle school (I am 29 now). I moved to Virginia 2 years ago and frankly cannot fathom trusting anyone else with my eyes, so I fly back to Nebraska to see her (even though she is now out of network with my insurance). I have a very high power prescription and high risk myopia so this can indeed be billed through medical insurance. She is constantly staying up to date with new technology / new treatment and therefore needs to charge more to be able to offer these specialist services. I hope I can continuing seeing her for many more years to come. Thank you!

Two years ago I gave this shambling shady business a 5 star review. Needless to say my feelings have changed. What I write in this review was my experience and seemingly many others, and the sheer number of old 5 star reviews compared to the more recent 1 stars should be acknowledged before visiting. Proceed with caution when visiting Gretna Vision Source/gretna eye & AESTHETICS or whatever other name they decide to go by to avoid the negative reviews. My experience here started over 3 years ago when I received a referral from my doctor to visit this location for specialty treatment.
