Consonus Gretna Pharmacy

For the first few months my mom was under Community Pharmacy, they only billed for acetaminophen. Then they finally billed for all of her medications but never billed the insurance company. It took two more months of me contacting them before price adjustments and insurance payments started showing on the invoices. Community Pharmacy continued sending full-price invoices for the first two months of medications they had provided. My guess is that by the time they finally acted, they were probably precluded from billing mother's insurance. I responded to the invoices every month, spoke to representatives numerous times, provided documentation which they repeatedly claimed to never receive. I even wrote to the owner. If I could rate ZERO STARS, I would! Incompetence and arrogance tops the list at this organization! I have been dealing with them over the last seven years, with two different elder care facilities. The contracts this pharmacy have been able SELL to various facilities have generated great wealth for this “local” pharmacy at the EXPENSE of proper care and ethics! They have routinely refused to fill various prescriptions claiming the insurance or Medicaid has denied claims, when in fact the pharmacy was submitting the wrong NDC# and too lazy to make sure they were using the correct information for the updated formularies! We have also had pharmacists at this place just take it upon themselves to change medications without consulting with the prescribing physician, or resident, or family memb

The billing department for this pharmacy is a complete disaster. Getting in contact with them could be compared to an "act of congress". They say they'll call you back and then don't for extended periods of time. They also don't bill consistently, it took them 2 months to send the first bill and more than a month to send the second. We discontinued them as our pharmacy but they seem to ignore that fact and send meds to the care facility any way and then bill us for them. Additionally, the meds that we were billed for were incorrect and very expensive when compared to other pharmacies! There are much better options out there, be an informed consumer!

Came in early ro get my shot. Staff was ready and there was no delay. Extremely efficient. Scheduled for 9:20, out by 8:50!

They were very organized! So very thankful for all of the people who gave their time to make this clinic happen!!
