I rarely do reviews but felt the need to express how amazing Dr. Koe and his team are. Absolutely first class care and literally could not have been better. Dr. Koe is one of the most knowledgeable and compassionate surgeons I have ever met. He did an outstanding job on my surgery and I am truly blessed that I was referred to him. I highly recommend him to anyone seeking an orthopedic surgeon.

Dr. Koe is the best! He has great bedside manners when it comes to his patients. Him and his staff at GVO really care about the patients. My husband and I really feel comfortable going to GVO bc Dr. Koe takes the time to help us with our issues with our joint pain. We couldn't ask for a better doctor!

Some of the worst medical care I have ever received. The incompetence and the victim blaming were unreal. It took 5 weeks of constant back and forth for them to send a referral to a radiologist. Everytime they said they sent one I would call the radiologist and they would tell me they never received anything. The medical staff on the phone would tell me ‘oh sometimes when we send something they don’t receive it, and then in turn would just blame their systems. There was never any urgency for them to correct the situation and then would act like it was my fault. To whoever runs this practice, you should be ashamed of yourself. A patient should never have to beg to receive basic medical care and that’s what I was doing in the end. The last straw was when my Physical therapist had tried to fi

I now have had both knees done by Dr Koe and he is great and the staff is great. I have never had a Dr that had me so prepared for surgery. I had all the post op equipment and pain medicine before the surgery. He had me up and in rehab two hours after surgery. If you need any orthopedic work done research and check out Dr Koe M.D. you won't be disappointed.

Went to GVO after getting the run around from so many of the big orthopedic places encouraging months of physical therapy and cortisone shots. Dr.Koe had X-rays and an MRI done to show exactly what was wrong (partially torn rotator cuff + bone spurs). Explained that it could be managed but would never be 100% and surgery was an option for a permanent fix. Had them perform the surgery and now 4 years later I have full mobility and no pain! Highly recommend compared to the huge offices located near St.Rose.
