I have always had anxiety going to a dentist due to some childhood and adulthood experiences. I am so thankful for Dr Smith and his team . They all made my experience a great one. Thank you so much Dr Smith for explaining everything and taking time and making sure I was comfortable and pain free during the procedure. All of my questions were explained and an instruction sheet was given to me on discharge . Everyone was friendly .

Dr. Smith and Katie always do a great job. They make you feel welcome and glad you are there. I would recommend Great Expressions in Douglasville, to be one of the better Dental places I’ve been too. They actually care and they are there to provide you the best Dental care around. I highly recommend.

I have had a great experience at GE with the endodontic and Dr Smith. Dr Smith explains every step of the procedure and lets you know what to expect and his assistant is great! I also have to say Crystal at the front is very awesome and goes above and beyond for her patients. My experience so far has been awesome!

Sharing my experience to help others understand billing practices at Great Expressions. In December 2025, I was told I had over $100 in credit from a 2024 visit. I was never notified of this credit and only learned of it when I returned for care. I was told the credit resulted from my secondary insurance paying a copay after I had already paid that copay up front, and that the money was kept as an account credit rather than refunded. When I requested a refund, I received inconsistent explanations. I was told the credit could not be used in 2026 and that a refund required review. After follow-up, I was told the refund was delayed due to “pending services,” even though the credit was from a prior year and recent services had already been paid by insurance. The credited amount also changed

Bad experience with caucian lady whom checked me in; she was very pushy about paying for additional services. My hygienist today and staff were very professional. My friends will be recommended to visits Dr. Smith. However, senior citizens should not be intimidated my staff to pay for extra services that they can’t afford because of being on a fixed income.
