I don’t know about you all, but I had a traumatizing experience getting my wisdom teeth removed. I get in there and I was a little nervous for the sedation. The orthodontist asked me if I had any questions so I asked how much he will be using of the sedation and he said enough. Not exactly answering my question. He gives me the shot and was talking to me, I was assuming he was waiting for it to kick in. After a little bit, I got maybe a little distorted in vision and a little dizzy but still fully conscious and aware of everything. He asked me how I was feeling, and told him the clouds on the ceiling were moving a bit. He asked if I was ready, I said I guess and he went right in. I felt every bit of it, from cracking the tooth in half to him pulling it out. I was squirming in pain and maki
Rose is completely unprofessional and extremely rude when talking to people. I will never bring my kids here again for any future surgeries due to her unprofessionalism and rude demeanor. Even when we went in to pay, just so rude.on top of that my son felt everything. Regardless of crying and squirming they disregarded it. His face was so swollen and oddly large and when I called they wouldn’t see him. Said it’s normal. We went to er and he had an infection. I should’ve read other reviews. Don’t make the same mistake as the rest of us.
This was the 3rd dentist (family dentist & endodontist) that we had seen in a 5 day period of intense pain. There was no doubt that the tooth needed to be extracted & that's what the referral from our family dentist had indicated. Still we had to go for a consultation where a 360 degree x-ray & a CT scan was done & then we had to wait until the following week to have the tooth removed. No one asked about previous x-rays that had been done. We were told this was the "protocol" but it added exposure to x-ray & a considerable unnecessary cost. The good part was that the people were all pleasant.
The surgeon was very nice, friendly, and professional. The staff were as well. 100% recommend this place! I’d do the surgery all over again here if I had to. ☺️ Oh yeah, they gave me a care package too! With soft diet foods to eat included ❤️ Very sweet and thoughtful team.
Highly disappointing experience in regards to Grayslake Oral Surgery's billing department. Nothing but billing issues THEY created 4 months after I had two of my wisdom teeth removed. My father and I are trying to work with them to fix the issues they created, but they haven't been able to give us direct answers. Seems like they are trying to get more money from Delta Dental than what they are obligated!
