I'm actually really sad to leave this negative review. I tried to make an appointment in 2023 for myself and my son who was going away to college (was trying to make an appointment before he left.) The receptionist told me we would have to wait close to a year because I was "non-compliant" with getting my cleanings during COVID. (She said had we been compliant we could get an appointment within the next 6 weeks.) I tried to explain to her that I had been going the office for 10 years prior to covid and only stopped because I had an infant at home and didn't want to risk exposure. I also did have a tooth fixed in 2020 by their office, but the receptionist told me because I hadn't gotten cleanings it didn't count. I had been coming to Family Dentistry along with my family for several years now. I had no problems at all during that time (simple cleanings and x rays) until April when I had my first “procedure” done. 2 very simple fillings. The morning of my appointment, Dr. Kelley was working on multiple patients at one time. The dental assistant did all the prep work, Dr. Kelley came in, chatted very loudly about politics, and gave me the novocaine, then rushed out again. She came rushing back 10 mins later, drilled my tooth, then left again. Came back, and proceeded to fill my tooth in the two places while carrying on a full-blown conversation with the dental assistant and other people in the office area about a wedding they’d been to that weekend prior. I’ve been with Granville Family Dentistry about a year. I have extreme anxiety around the dentist and needed a lot of work. Dr Kelly is amazing she came up with a plan for me and she got the job done! She listens and is VERY good at what she does! The staff are friendly and courteous. Thankful 😊

Absolutely horrible service and customer service. Severe discrimination as well. Tried to resolve an error between office papers and insurance regarding gender marker since they wrongfully placed me as the incorrect gender, regardless of mine being the correct gender most of my life even before moving out here- I had to correct them twice on the matter, only to be treated dismissively and defensively. Upon seeing the dentist herself, repeatedly spoke over me when I was requesting to be properly gendered. Would not recommend this office to any LGBTQ+ individuals in the area.

extremely poor patient service. my mother and i went in a few months ago regarding a few cavities i had, for some back ground information i’ve always had a bit of dental anxiety. have had many bad experiences revolving dentist office’s. when me and my mother went into the office the dental assistant was extremely kind, and understanding of my anxiety, but the actual dentist herself was extremely rude. talked over my mother when she tired to explain my symptoms because i simply really couldn’t get the words out, and told her that she needed to speak with me NOT her. continuing on, we began to start to talk about the fillings, and the novocain injection and i started to get a bit more nervous and the dentist proceeded to tell me and my mother she refused to do anything because i was “shakin
