Granville Center

I was only there to visit a friend. The staff was friendly and the nurse at the Nurse's Station had a Great Sense of Humor; that speaks volumes to me about the care a person receives. I always look under the bed, for old tissues, trash, or even meds; that tells you about cleanliness and if the nurse, administering meds, is really Watching the resident Take their meds, or just leaving them there. The entire facility was SPOTLESS, and in my opinion, operated to the highest standards of Professionalism.

My mother was there until her death. The entire staff ignores all of the residents, they sit in their own feces for hours and aren't checked on the entire day. We would go see my mother and the only place we would see the staff is at the nurses station playing cards and ignoring the residents. Not once did we see the staff ever checking on my mother or any of the other residents, in a four hour visit 3x a week. They are lazy and incompetent, completely uncaring of the residents.

This place refused to send my mother home on an emergency transfer after multiple phone calls. The front office would not return my messages. I read the reviews of this place and was immediately terrified. My mother was dead after only being there for 4 days. She contacted a sickness after arriving there and it was poorly cared for, cleaned, and medically treated and it became a fatality on there part and the hospital that decided a 2 star rated facility was a good place to send her. If you love your family member STOP at nothing to make sure they don't end up here and if by chance they do end up here. STOP AT NOTHING to get them out of here. Stop at nothing!

Some of the staff is very neglectful and refuses to help toilet rehab patients. The facility is run down and dirty. Found my loved one extremely soiled and in pain

One of my family members was a guest here. Mr. Mailloux is an outstanding administrator. He always took the time to speak with us and inquire about the care my loved one was receiving. This was always welcomed by our family and demonstrated the deep care and concern that he had for all of the guests that stayed in his facility. I would recommend his facility to anyone of my family members and friends as well. Thank you, Mr. Mailloux for taking the time to share your compassion with us.
