Grande Ronde Hospital

I only had one complaint that I felt should be addressed. All nurses should be made aware if their patient is hearing impaired. And the patient should only have to tell them once. I had one nurse on the night shift who I couldn’t understand even after I told her I couldn’t hear. She seemed to get a little annoyed when I told her again. Other than that everyone was very helpful and caring! The food is top notch! Respiratory therapists were excellent! ER was very quick and everyone was super friendly.

Rapid diagnosis saved my life! Thank all of you.💕💕 ***Although, I have had NEGATIVE experiences as well. Because I have a chronic spine condition, I am on opioids. I feel like ALMOST every time I have needed to be seen, they think I’m there for drugs! My husband has noticed that as well. On Christmas Eve, my dog left an elk antler on the stairs. I didn’t see it and fell down the stairs. I heard lots of popping and crunching , and couldn’t put ANY weight on it. Had an X-ray which showed no breaks or fractures , so I was quickly discharged. I HAD TO ASK FOR AN ACE WRAP! 4 weeks later, I had a CT done, and now I need a complicated surgery which requires a very lengthy recovery! Very unprofessional Doctor.I won’t share his name…

GREAT experience in Emergency room at Grande Ronde facility a few days ago. AMAZING speed to be seen, from Admissions, Nursing and Physician. Had Radiology actually come to my space in ED versus requiring me go to them!! First I have seen in many other parts of US!! I would give 10/10 score for my visit!! Thank you to ALL Becky K

Such great care from ER, Doctors and nurses on second floor! Respiratory as well as Laboratory departments showed true concern. Shout out to Catryn night nurse for words of encouragement. Dee Dee from Respiratory also for answering questions in detail. Dr. Hunsaker tells it like it is and when you are in crisis that is what you need Meals were also serves in appealing way and actually tasty. Thank you GRH

This was my first time going to Grande Ronde Hospital, it was a great experience, well if you have to be at the hospital ER anyways, haha! The staff were all nice and knowledgeable. I was in and out in just over 2 hours, I would recommend them.
