Hi everyone, Gracie here 🐾 I just wanted to take a moment to tell you about my amazing vet team. Every time I walk through those doors, my human says I’m “going to the vet,” but honestly it feels more like visiting friends who really care about me. The whole staff is so gentle, patient, and kind. They give the best ear scratches (and butt scratches), talk to me like I’m the good girl I know I am, and make sure I feel safe even when I’m a little nervous. The doctors take such great care of me and always explain everything to my human so she knows I’m getting the very best treatment. The office is clean, calm, and full of people who clearly love animals. You can tell they aren’t just doing a job, they truly care about every single pet that walks (or gets carried) through their doors. My

Golf Mill Animal Hospital is great. All the people who worked there are so great with our dog. Our dog loves going there where he is greeted by Sandy who is sweet when Dug arrives. The techs are really great taking info about our pets,. Dr. Bailey is great. She has such a great re-pore with our dog. She sits on the floor and pets him while she examines him and talks to him. We took our new golden doodle puppy, to Golf Mill Animal hospital. We were concerned about his breathing. Dr. Bailey gave him a thorough check up and reassured us that everything was fine. Everyone was very nice and kind. They made our puppy feel safe and relaxed. They listened to my concerns and answered all my questions. True story. I brought my cat in for a wellness visit and to have her booty (aka anal glands) checked out. Now, I never known my cat, who I adopted last year, to be an affectionate cat. Pets, brushing sessions, and even sitting close by are always on her terms. She's really sweet and has never acted aggressively towards me. Just shy and aloof. So, it came to my surprise, when I saw the vet tech come out craddling my cat like a baby, belly-up, rubbing her belly! WHAAAT!?? As you can see, as far as developing rapport with first-time furry patients, the staff, including the front desk clerk, go beyond and above to make sure pets and their caregivers feel safe and comfortable. We’re new patients of Dr. Baley and the team here, and I’m very pleased with the attention and care my cats received. The doctor took extra time to help them feel comfortable and thoroughly addressed all of my concerns. We went home with a clean bill of health and some toys the boys have been happily playing with ever since. I’m grateful to have found a local vet who makes us feel welcome and in good hands.
