She had a nice bedside manner in the sense that she was personable and kind, but didn't even think to order labs for me? She based all of her information on labs from a year ago and passed me off to rheumatology. I'm becoming more and more disillusioned with medical doctors. I would have been better off spending $500 for a lyme literate practitioner who would actually try to get to the root cause of my problems--an untreated infection. I guess I should've known better than to try to go to someone who my insurance covers. Waste of my time.

Dr. Wexler was extremely thoughtful, listened, answered all of my questions, and gave me great education. She looked at the full picture and was extremely helpful in making recommendations even though my underlying issue isn’t viral.

I am so relieved after my appointment with Dr. Ellen Wexler! After discovering an engorged tick on my body, I had been struggling with Lyme disease symptoms for the past six weeks. Unfortunately, previous doctors I consulted provided conflicting and often incorrect information (and no solution). Dr. Wexler took the time to listen attentively to everything I had to say and addressed all of my concerns. Her expertise in Lyme disease and other tick-borne illnesses is exceptional. She not only developed a thorough treatment plan but also ordered additional testing for Babesia, despite my Lyme antibody test being negative. I needed a medical form filled out and found Dr. Wexler on the internet. I hate going to doctors' offices because of the (1) long wait times, (2) lack of specialized care, (3) feeling it like I am just an appointment. Whether you go to Mount Sinai or Sloan Kettering, you will literally be in the waiting room for hours. I don't understand why hospitals and doctors cannot be like the rest of the world and schedule timely appointments instead over overlapping appointments and making people wait hours. A doctors' time is not the only time that is important - a patients' time is just as important. My visit with Goals Healthcare was completely different to what I have ever experienced before.
