GIANT Pharmacy

Some of the people in the pharmacy are super sweet! But that doesn’t change the fact that there seems to be no communication or organization. I have a compromised immune system and asthma - I’m often at the pharmacy for different meds. At least once a month. Without failure - it’s always something. They don’t have my meds ready even though I received a msg stating it was ready for P/U. The app says ready for P/U. They argue about what’s been approved even when you’re showing them the msg’s from their Pharmacy! It’s never easy! I constantly have issues with “Nat” - most times I go in to P/U my inhaler - she argues back and forth before asking the Pharmacist and getting my medication. The waiting, arguing, and attitudes are unnecessary.

Awful!!! During acute diverticulitis flare up my doctor called in my prescription early afternoon. I called pharmacy 5 hours later to see it was ready. No call back. Following day my son goes to pick it up and They tell him they are out and won't have it until 2 more days. I had to have Rx transferred to different location and Giant pharmacy made it very difficult. I called to ask why no one notified me yesterday and told them they lost a customer and they hung up on me!!! So UNPROFESSIONAL

I picked up my prescription this evening and asked what information I needed to provide since it was under Worker’s Compensation. The pharmacist asked if I had my claim number and insurance company information. I had the information on my phone ready to give it to her. She stated I needed to “print out the information” in order for her to put the information in. She said it would be a long process and insinuated that I wouldn’t be able to pick up my necessary prescription today then. I paid for it on my debit card and asked what should I do in the future for my Worker’s Compensation. The employee that checked me out said I just needed to write down the information. I was furious that they couldn’t just have said that from the beginning. I could tell I was nothing but an inconvenience to th

Poor customer service. I stopped at the pharmacy to pick up my son’s prescription and they didn’t have it ready. They told me it would be at least 30mins so I said I would come back later (no big deal). She TOLD me to call first to make sure they had it. I’ve tried to call several times and when they answer, instantly say “hold please.” They never get back on the line and have hung up on me each and every time without ever being able to actually talk to someone. I understand they’re busy but come up with a better system if you tell your customer to call first. Do better!

This pharmacy is AWFUL, as are most giant pharmacies. Simply read the other reviews. The lady at the prescription counter today was incredibly rude. I noticed someone from the pharmacy responds to poor reviews and apologizes for the bad experience. Stop apologizing and start making changes. You have 2.8 stars on google review. Obviously it’s not getting through to you.
