Customer Reviews
I am so glad I read all of these reviews after I just received a phone call from this company. I was originally looking to schedule a G.I. appointment with Texas digestive disease consultants. I placed an inquiry on their website probably two weeks ago. I received a voicemail a couple days ago from GI Alliance About surgery scheduling, I was so confused because I do not have any surgeries to schedule. This morning I received another phone call and answered when I asked more questions about what this company even is the scheduler was confused and rude. He seemed bothered that I even asked him what this company was. I was a previous patient at TDDC in McKinney And was looking to schedule my first visit with the Southlake office. Now that I know that GI Alliance is the management company that
Making a new patient appointment with Dr. Carolyn Walker in Denton, Texas has been near-impossible. I've attempted to contact them for weeks and the only option is to leave a voicemail. I left a voicemail (no response), submitted an online appointment request (got one return phone call but I was unavailable and driving when they called - they left a message), left another voicemail (no return phone call). This is worrisome for a first appointment, but also what happens if I do finally get that first appointment and then have to call back for follow-ups, medication questions, etc? Not confidence-inspiring. It's a shame because Dr. Walker is so highly recommended by other local patients (who said she was "a good listener," "good with chronic disease," "good advocate," "honest," and "doesn'
I was at the Mansfield office yesterday and I had to wait because Dr Odunsi was called out on an emergency. While I was waiting for her to come back I witnessed some of the best patient service I have ever seen in a doctors office. Patty at the front desk was incredibly helpful with each patient that came in. Especially when it came to helping people with the tablet information. She is a keeper. She is doing a great job. Please put this letter in her file. Never ending patience.
I have been a patient within the GI Alliance for a few years now. I was sent to my current physician on the recommendation of one of my other doctors. I do not like the office that I am currently going to. I have never felt comfortable there, I am not able to get into see the physician, only the physician assistant and I do not want to continue seeing her as my gastro doctor. I feel like she is dismissive and does not adequately address my issues. I have been trying for months now to switch physicians and as I am in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex, there are very few gastroenterologists that are not in your system and no one will allow me to switch. I have tried 3 or 4 times now with different physicians in different offices in 3 different cities, and all of them tell me they will not take
GI Alliance has a serious problem of NOT sending bills to patients and then sending those bills to COLLECTION. They claimed they sent me a bill 4 times in the last year in 4 different months, and when I proved it to them through USPS Mail Snapshot that I never received a bill, they simply refused to take responsibility and kept giving me runaround. I asked them to take responsibility for their actions/inactions but no, they wouldn't do that. They're completely fine with ruining people's credit by not doing their job, for a stupid $100 bill. GI Alliance should be called GREAT INCOMPETANT ALLIANCE. I hope to NEVER hear about them again.
