My daughter had an appointment scheduled for 2/25/26. Whoever scheduled her didn’t inform me that she’s only coming in for a consultation not an ultrasound. Why would she need a consultation when her primary care doctor already sent a referral regarding what she needs done. But I called today 1/23/26 to make sure she didn’t have to fast or anything special and that’s why I found out it’s only a consultation!!! So if I didn’t call I would’ve drove all the way there just to talk no test completed. Thank god I called. But the lady who helped me was so rude and didn’t know her job at all. She was talking me like I was bothering her and that she hated her job I just couldn’t believe it but I kept my cool. Her name was Deidra Staples. As a patient, calling this place to get a simple task accomplished via phone was ridiculous! You have to listen to over 12 minutes of ads and information, before being asked to leave your number for a call back. Clearly these people lack urgency, do not want to speak to anyone or are severly understaffed. I cancelled my appointment. After my review they responded that someone would reach out....well no surprise, no one ever did. Good luck!

I did not have a good experience with this practice at all. I have been passing stones since January 10 and made an appt with the Doctor but ended up seeing the NP. I would send messages and call and wouldn’t get a response in a timely manner. There is one pain med I can not take and had mentioned it to them and that is what the called in for me on a Friday at 5:00. I had no choice but to pick it up. I called Monday and explained the situation and they don’t seem to care. I went for a STAT CT scan on a Thursday and they finally called me back on Tuesday, as I was headed to the hospital with another stone. I have found an amazing Urologist now and would not recommend Georgia Urology to anyone.

Forget trying to reach a human being avg hold time over an hour Np took a week to send prescriptions Still have not gotten my ct results . Lack communication for sure .

We visited Georgia Urology in Fayetteville for a scheduled UroCuff test. After waiting, we were told they could not perform the test because my husband uses a wheelchair and the test requires standing. While the staff apologized and refunded our co-pay, we were very disappointed that this accessibility issue wasn’t identified before the appointment was booked. I hope they improve communication and accessibility for future patients with mobility challenges. We asked about other options for this much needed test but there was no attempt to accommodate my husband.
