We love Dr. Chong and Dr. Patel, and the hygienists here, but they’re losing three patients because of the front office. I scheduled my son for a cleaning appointment six months in advance. They started sending out reminder texts as the appointment got closer. Thankfully, I looked at the time in the text (and noticed it was wrong) instead of just confirming it. I texted back and told them it was wrong and they told me they rescheduled it “due to the holiday”. They never called, asked if I could come in earlier, etc. They just decided when it would be convenient for them and told me to be there. I was very angry and said so. I scheduled an appointment for my children after being told over the phone that this office accepted my insurance. They even set a date and time. Later, I received a call saying they actually do not take my insurance and they canceled the appointment. This was disappointing and inconvenient, especially since I was originally told otherwise. I would recommend verifying insurance carefully before scheduling to avoid this situation.
