I could not be happier with my dental team at Gentle Dental. We’ll start with Dr Coulter. She couples the highest level of medical expertise and professionalism every time I come into visit along with her assistants. I love my dentist! My hygienist, Tonya, does an excellent job cleaning my teeth. Additionally, she gives me the best advice and recommendations for keeping my teeth and gums their best between cleanings. The front desk staff of Jennifer and Jessica are always courteous, kind, and a joy to converse with. They don’t hesitate to reach out to get me an earlier appointment when the inevitable cancelation happens at the practice. The bottom line is that going to the dentist can be stressful…..but this team makes going to the dentist like catching up with friends and family.

I used to be a fan of them when I started going a few years ago. They apparently went through changes and seem to be more inconvenienced by patients now. I'm constantly called to reschedule my appointments and they seem more concerned with closing early than serving their clients. You're better off going somewhere that values your time as much as their own.

Such an awesome experience today with Dr. Coulter and her staff. To be honest, I was a little nervous about my first visit. I was met at the desk by a friendly staff that offered conversation that eased my nerves a little. After meeting with Dr. Coulter she described her method of assessment and plans for treatment. She also shared more knowledge of dentistry and thoroughly covered all plans for repairs than I have ever received from othet dentist I seen in the past. After leaving I was very excited about the treatments I received and plans for future improvements!!

Being a patient for years we are greatly disappointed with how Dr. Coulter is running her office. She’s very pleasant but deceiving when it comes to billing. During a insurance change I was reassured they were in network only to learn they were not after being billed $450. I should have verified myself but I trusted Dr. Coulters office. My bill is paid and the only explanation I received was “I’m sorry, my front staff had no previous training so they are learning by trial and error.” At my expense!

Just moved to Danville from Lexington this past year. Had an emergency dental situation and thought I would give this business a try as my dentist in Lexington had retired. They got me in right away, assessed my problem and treated me like family. I had an infection to a pre-molar and had to have an extraction. The whole staff was exceptionally kind and helpful. I’m so glad I found them.
