Dr. McDonald is a fantastic dentist! I give him 5 stars. He is so personable. He’s honest, caring, funny, and gentle. That being said, I moved to Nampa eighteen years ago from the Midwest and I saw Dr.McDonald up until a few months ago. It’s due to the rudeness that one of the office staff who answered the phone was with me. It wasn’t the first time, but it was the last. When you see a dentist for that long, it was a very hard decision to change dentists because of the staff. Dr. McDonald, you are missed. Thank you for all the years you took care of my husband and I!

I recently visited Gentle Dental Care South and I can't say enough good things about my experience! From the moment I walked in, the welcoming atmosphere made me feel right at home. The staff is truly exceptional; they go above and beyond to ensure that every patient feels comfortable and valued. The reception team greeted me with warm smiles and handled all the paperwork efficiently. The dental assistant was not only gentle but also took the time to explain each step of the process, which really put me at ease. Dr. McDonald is awesome! Dr. McDonald is the best dentist I've ever had! Everyone at this office is so friendly and welcoming. I used to dread going to the dentist, but now I look forward to my cleanings and I'm not in the least bit nervous anymore if I need a filling or anything else done. I was in and out for a small filling in about 20 minutes and I had no pain during or after.

The office was extremely clean and organized, felt very professional. Reception was very friendly and checked me in as soon as I got there. This was the best cleaning experience I’ve had and have no intention on going anywhere else! Thank you Gentle Dental!

I recently booked an appointment at this site to get a wisdom tooth checked out. The first receptionist I spoke to was lovely and got me set up with an appointment the next morning, which I was enthused about. I received a call a short time later stating that I was booked in an unavailable time slot and needed to call back to reschedule to the next time slot that would be 30 minutes later. I have been through enough small mistakes from businesses that have affected me to a great extent, both mentally and monetarily, that I tend to just cancel if mistakes are made early on because I will typically experience that same mistake every time I make an appointment.
