Gentle Care Family Dental

I contacted this practice today to learn of their protocol when a patient their medical record. They attempted to complete a filling however the filling was too deep and was told may need a root canal but to come back when the pain was so bad that you could not sleep at night. We contacted them today to get a copy of the x-rays to have them reviewed by another provider in which we were informed that if we signed a release of records we would be dismissed from the practice. this is ILLEGAL. Patients have a legal right to their own medical record, regardless of what they are going to do with THEIR MEDICAL RECORD. We spoke with Ashley on the phone and she was the most unprofessional person I have ever spoke too. She does not let you finish a sentence, has absolutely no empathy what so ever on

The kids and I just switched dentists per a coworkers recommendation and I am impressed! This place is awesome, friendly staff, thorough work, very clean, great atmosphere, quick and efficient. Top notch dental care! If you aren’t happy with your current dentist or are looking, I Highly Recommend Dr Nilu and we had a great DA Amer who did wonderful with our cleanings along with another DA who I can’t remember her name atm bc I met her at my first appointment a couple months ago. But they are all great. They helped with financial information, have a wide variety of services, and are very reasonably priced if you do not have insurance.

I have many chronic health conditions that make me a complicated patient. UNC is the only dental clinic that has a “special needs” type dental clinic. I just moved to HP this year so changed from my greensboro regular dentist and made an appointment here. I was a bit put off that they were bays and not actual rooms but that’s just how some places are. The DH was ok but when the dentist came in he never introduced himself, didn’t go over my health records or anything. Remarked at my “poor dental hygiene” and said I’d need a deep cleaning and he walked out. My teeth are not great but they aren’t horrible me either. They are the best here! Staff is friendly and accommodating and the wait time is little to none. I really, really fear the dentist but they are cool with that and definitely help you to feel more comfortable. I'd recommend this place to anyone!
