She is truly dedicated to her students success, she goes way beyond a textbook, she teaches not only the material for the state exams, but real world skills, which makes the material way more practical, easier to understand, and leaves you confident. Mrs. Lorna is definitely one of the best instructors around, she answers her emails and text as soon as possible, even after the course. I attended Arise Health Training Institute during the weekends starting in May of 2025. I found the training videos and classes very informative. Lorna is a wonderful instructor! She makes sure you know your skills while making you laugh at the same time. Lorna is so approachable and accommodating and makes time available for you to practice your skills outside of class time. The clinical assignments are amazing too! Worth every cent.

My experience at Arise for the Nurse Aide 1 class and certification was phenomenal. Ms Lorna is a wonderful instructor who does everything she possibly can to help her students learn, test, and certify. I felt so supported and heard during my time learning under both her and Ms Cindy. Ms Cindy imparted so much knowledge and new ways of doing care tasks that I use in my practice as a home care aide and probably will forever. I received 3 job offers after going to Arise and I have now worked with two of the best personal care businesses in the county. I’m planning on going back for CE to level up my practice. Lorna is such an amazing instructor. She makes everything really simple and goes into detail for better understanding. I would recommend this Nurse Aide 1 class to anyone. I can wait to return for my Med Aide.

I have beautiful experience when I was at Arise! Mrs. Lorna is a good teacher, I like her teaching style and she have impeccable technique.
