Genesee Urgent Care

This is the only Urgent Care I use. Janelle, Lara and Kristina gives top tier treatment and are great with children as well as adults. They don't look at you as a number or just a patient, they care for you like they would their own family. They're very through, patient, and welcoming and they know their stuff and they listen without judgment. I don't know the other practitioners but those 3, chefs kiss in the medical field.

Unfortunately, I would not recommend this urgent care. The wait was extremely long (over 2 hours). It does help that the receptionist was patient and very nice to patients. However, the treating nurse or physician assistant (I am unsure of her title) was unprofessional and appeared to be inexperienced. I think she is trying, but needs more training. I ended up contacting my primary care physician for assistance. I do not plan to come back here again.

I'm 17 weeks pregnant and I went in for a cough that I thought was due to smoke inhalation from an electric griddle. After speaking with the PA Janelle she examined me noticed that my nasal passage was inflamed and suggested that we test for Covid and the Flu to be on the safe side. Turns out I had the flu and Janelle treated me right away with Tamiflu. I'm beyond grateful for the care that I received, and I just really want to thank Janelle for being very thorough, kind, and quick thinking.

None of the employees wash their hands. Every time you speak with someone here they smell like cigarettes or cigars. This place is terrible. The receptionist is terrible. It’s the same person every time I have been here and she seems to get worse. Also when you sign in they don’t go in order. She picked 2-3 people before me and I was here twenty minutes before them. The same person who checked me in took my vitals, and then was sweeping the parking lot when I left.

Absolutely amazing. They close at 7 and we made it all the way from Clio before they closed. And we're not mad at all so happy to help. Thank you ladies so much
