Geisinger Medical Center Muncy

There's a good reason I try to avoid Geisinger as a patient. My employer requested paperwork to legitimately allow me to take sick days for an ill family member. A PA who is fresh out of school and younger than me had no idea how to fill it out. I waited for several hours for this person to come and in and fill this out. She acted totally unprofessional when she couldn't figure out how to fill it out. Instead of saying I'm too busy or leave the paperwork for the doctor. She came in and tried to claim that me and my siblings who are trying to provide care for this family member shouldn't need this paperwork. She also brought her personal cell phone in which made me uncomfortable as I was not using my phone. Tell this person they're a jerk. Be professional say, I'm too busy to fill this out

I went to establish care after being a patient in Avis PA. They were closer so I switched over. What a mistake that was. I went to my appointment and I knew what to expect as I have been a nurse for over two decades. I have PTSD and panic disorder which is debilitating at times but I deal with it every day. The medication contract has conditions nationwide but I know that. The problem came when I gave them my specimens and usually I waited for a day until the prescription was approved and everything else went through. In a clinic that didn’t have on site labs it took a day. It’s been days and they are aware that I don’t have my medication. The provider is nonchalant about it and I don’t feel like I’m being treated well. I don’t feel like I am being helped into help. I’m being denied medica

My Chart messaging is worthless. Even though you send a message to your care provider they don't get the message. Instead someone who has no idea of your medical situation/history answers the message that is of no help resolving the issue whatsoever! Dr. visit was scheduled for February but labs were scheduled incorrectly for April. Lab scheduling can't change the time frame. When the Dr. was messaged someone else answered the the labs for April are correct. So what a waste going to the Dr. for the checkup without the needed lab work that he monitors because of medical issues!! Just another way for Geisinger to charge for an extra unnecessary visit!

It's a shame I really like my doctor and the people that work there. I would have given them five stars. But the pharmacy is a minus one star. They do not give me reminders for my medicine. They say they deliver. They don't deliver. They give my medicine to UPS and they just take their good old time getting it to me. YOU NEED TO HIRE A DRIVER THAT IS DELIVERY SERVICE. WAIT TILL YOU SEE MY SPACEBOOK REVIEW.

I love my nurses and doctors I have 0 complaints for them. As for the food service, they made sure to send up a menu telling me to have orders in by the listed time and also gave a small piece of paper highlighting it like I was an idiot and needed to be told twice.i was following my nurses orders to put in a meal for later as i just got an advanced meal list and had a later lunch due to lack of communication. The girl who brought me the food had an arrogant attitude towards me like she was annoyed with me. I was following what my nurses told me to do. Crazy.
