Geisinger Lewisburg Pediatrics

This is the worst doctors place ever its been like 2 months into the year and have already HAD 4 APPOINTMENTS CANCELED for the same doctor if you dont wanna treat kids then just do us all a favor and shut down or quit if you cant be here to do your job 🤷🏻‍♀️

Generally I like this practice. I like a few doctors. Dr castellan and dr smith at least. Wait times are usually very high for dr smith when we see her, sometimes for castellan. But after today we may be switching. Their hours are 8 am to start. It’s been like that for some time. I called at 8 am and the message was their automated “ after hours triage nurse line” message- basically telling me that I called during hours they weren’t open. Problem is, they were supposed to be open. I called at 8:00- 8:01- 8:02- 8:03- then at 8:04 talked to the nurse triage to find out why the heck the ladies at the front desk weren’t turning on the phones for the day. Nurse triage told me on some occasions it takes them up to 15 mins to turn them on. So I called back again and finally at 8:09 am ( 9 minutes

Loved this place until Geisinger took over. There are pros and Cons.

Was nor happy when I called in to let them know I wouldn't be able to make it on time to my daughters appointment . The girl that was talking to me was very short with me.. she told me that I should have called in sooner because some one else could have used that appointment.. and she didn't even ask Me if I wanted to make a new appointment... and nothing bothers me more then when u hang up the phone and the person doesn't say have a nice day or anytbing they just hang up on u... why would u work at a place were u have to be on the phone with people if u can't even be nice

We have had nothing but horrible experiences at this office since it changed names and new Doctors took over. When you call to make an appointment your told they are booked out a week for sick visits? You are then sent to woodbine or told to go to urgent care. I recently had this happen AGAIN and went to urgent care...I was told when I went there that gesinger peds does this...and they aren't even sure what the point of there office being open is when they don't see their patients? I just highly recommend NOT going to Gesinger Peds!
