Beware when choosing gastro health… they are not in it for the care but only for money $$. Awful customer service experience. They wouldn’t let me change providers within the practice when I had a bad experience with one of their providers, they don’t care about you as a patient.…. My advice would be to stay far away! My experience was with the Jupiter Florida Gastro office. If I could give a negative star I would. -1

I wish I could leave a 1/2 star. I would like to share my interaction with gastrohealth. This corporation is poorly managed. The communication lacks professionalism and courtesy. Gastrohealth has succumbed to what all corporations have fallen prey to, building wealth instead of building professionalism and rapport between the medical staff and patient. My interaction with gastrohealth has been nothing but poor. They have a captive audience which they use to their advantage. Through my experience today, I can say the quality of healthcare given by gastrohealth is poor. The care coordinator at the infusion center had NO RIGHT to cancel an appointment without letting me the patient know. They do not allow patients to write in network only. They state they are in network, facility and hospital. So why not? Something is not kosher! The Kendall place is tiny, it does not even have seats for everyone… Terrible! And after prepping a whole day, without eating, going to the bathroom the whole night and you do not want me to assure I will be treated by the people I was supposed to. Why? To charge me later more? And the saddest thing is that they have monopoly in South Florida! Even in Broward!

If I could give ZERO stars I would. Absolute terrible billing service. Duplicate billing of my insurance company, EXACT same charge. Customer service told me the second bill was for “facility services”, NOT the procedure. I was looking right at the bill while speaking to the rep and it clearly stated it was for the procedure. When asking for a supervisor I was told the answer would be the same. If it all possible avoid this company. They will be seeing me in small claims.

Updated: It’s been two months, never got a call to follow up from the billing department after the last few times I had to call. Today we received another bill. I would avoid this entire network to avoid the hassle. Poor medical management is worst than poor medical care. Another bad doctors office. I wish these doctors would take the time to review their practice’s reputation to get a clue about what’s going on with their staff. They did an over the phone consultation with me, the doctor was nice. Got a bill from them later on, website had problems several days in a row.
