So I got a positive Colon cancer diagnosis. My doctor sent me to Dr. Ferrer Jr. I have never met a Doctor who is more kind, thorough, honest, Compassionate and caring! He worked with me to get me in quickly to help me walk through this process as scary as it is. He’s been nothing but extremely educational and helpful. The way he speaks with you and pays attention. You don’t get that kind of treatment anymore from most doctors. His staff in the office Are extremely nice and helpful and kind. They’re educated and attentive. I cannot say enough good things about this entire experience and Ive not even had the procedure yet! I had an excellent visit with Dr. Rosen. I did not have to wait at all, and the office staff was courteous and welcoming from the moment I arrived. Dr. Rosen was professional, kind, and took the time to listen to me attentively. He validated all of my concerns and made me feel truly heard. He carefully explained his treatment plan and patiently discussed the benefits of the recommended tests so that I could fully understand why they were important. Well, where to start? Years back my doctor was Nelson Garcia , he called me a lier to my face , claiming his staff don’t lie to him and “ my pregnant assistant is been with me for 10 years , she has no reason to lie” This was after she failed to notify me when my endoscopy results were ready. She claimed my company’s paid cell phone was disconnected and that was the reason she couldn’t tell me the results were in . Given them the benefit of doubt , I switched to Eugenio J. Hernandez , disregarding my wife’s recommendation to go to a completely different place. Pff where do I even begin! The staff makes me feel small, unwanted, forgettable, unimportant ! I had a virtual appointment @10:15am yesterday. @8:30am I received a called.. was advised that there r 2 patients ahead of me so my appt might be a little late!! They would call when it was my turn and send link. @11:15am I started calling office, couldn't get through.. finally @3:30pm (5hrs 15mins after scheduled appt) I was able to get a hold of someone!! I voiced my grievance.. was put on hold... once the call reached 11 mins 13 secs I was boiling w anger at how I was so dismissed!! I hung up!! Dr. Nelson Garcia is an excellent Gastroenterologist. He’s extremely knowledgeable, professional and kind. He’s a great human being and cares about his patients. His staff are very helpful, friendly and professional. I will recommend the team to friends and family.
