We have had an excellent experience with Dr. Pien and his team. From food challenges to testing for various allergies, we have only had positive visits over the past 5 years. Dr. Pien is thorough, patient, and truly took the time to explain everything clearly and answer all of my questions. I especially appreciate his interactions with my daughter, he is kind and she feels comfortable with him and his staff. Highly recommend!

This Dr and the support staff are so unbelievably unprofessional it is almost shocking. We arrived 3 minutes late to an appointment due to road work. We called the office to give a heads up and the Dr then proceeded to not only not see our son but then berate us for not being responsible in such a creepy way - he led my wife and son into a room, closed the door, and then did NOT SEE THE PATIENT, only came very close to my wife and explain his opinion about our responsibility. I think this physician’s demeanor and care for patients is sub par. He may have some medical training but his bedside manner is truly abysmal!

Saw Dr Pien today after being diagnosed by an ENT with allergies. Turns out I don't have allergies. Dr Pien is amazing. He took the time to see me, hear my story and look at my CT Scan. There should be more doctors like him in the field. Medicine is supposed to be a call not a business like most doctors treat it as. I definitely recommend him. Thank you doctor

There is nobody better than Dr. Pien! He is in a league by himself. Based upon previous blood tests, our daughter had what I would call extreme seasonal allergies and it really impacted her daily life when it came to the outdoors and being at school. Over the counter medications didn't do anything for her. We had been to another allergist who began giving her shots but they appeared to be working slowly and providing minimal relief. Fast forward a couple of years and we found Dr. Pien through the SMG website. Dr. Pien was an excellent listener and had a great "I will help you" attitude. Dr. Pien and his staff prepared a game plan which worked to perfection and we are proud to say she is no longer receiving shots or doing her spray. My child had Food Challange appt with him and I had a couple important questions to ask beforehand. Even before I asked, he literally said he has no time for any question as he is too busy at the time and we should consider today as a surgery day. I think we can still ask questions before surgery but not with him. He cut a whole nut in 4 pieces and left the room and never came back or never heard back from him until we finished the food challange. The office staff kicked us out from the room after my child ingested food and told us to walk around the building for 90 minutes or so and comeback if anything happens. Isn't Food Challange supposed to be taken serious as if it was a surgery like he said?
