Attending Galen College of Nursing has been one of the most defining chapters of my life. From the very beginning, Galen not only prepared me academically but also shaped me into a confident, compassionate, and skilled nurse ready to make a difference. The faculty truly saw my potential and encouraged me to lead, mentor, and grow beyond my own expectations. They didn’t just teach nursing — they inspired clinical judgment, integrity, and human connection. I especially loved how student veterans and diverse learners were supported here. I passed my NCLEX in October 2025, and I’m beyond thrilled to start this new chapter in my life. The journey wasn’t easy—I had to retake a few courses, and I hated it at the time—but looking back, it truly prepared me for the NCLEX and for my nursing career. There was nothing on the NCLEX that I was unfamiliar with, and that made me even more grateful for the preparation I received. I also want to give a special thank-you to Sally from the Registrar’s Office. She always responded to my emails, even after graduation when I no longer had access to my Galen email. She still made sure I was connected with the right resources to get in contact with the HCA New Grad Program. Thank you, Galen. And thank you, Sally. 💙🩺

This school lacks communication. and it’s over the simplest things. like why are out final exam grades not given to us yet? and its been almost a week since we took the exam? this school say they care about our mental health but they add on that so much unnecessary stress. i did not know it takes almost 4 days to scan scantons and upload our grades so we can enjoy our christmas break!

Jasmine was absolutely wonderful- sweet, kind, and supportive throughout the entire process. She guided me every step of the way and stayed in touch until I was officially enrolled at Galen College of Nursing. Orientation was well-organized, informative, and a great introduction to the school. I also appreciate how Galen offers so many valuable resources to help students succeed.
