Galen College of Nursing - Aurora

I can’t say enough great things about Galen College of Nursing in Aurora! The teachers are absolutely amazing — they truly care about your success and take the time to make sure you understand the material. Every class feels engaging and purposeful. The content is clear, straightforward, and relevant to real nursing practice, which makes learning both effective and enjoyable. I’m gaining so much knowledge and confidence in my nursing journey thanks to this incredible team and program!

I am a student in the first BSN cohort at Galen College of Nursing in Aurora, CO, and I would highly not recommend this school to future students. My overall experience has been extremely disappointing. One of my professors this semester was consistently unprepared for class. She often had to ask other professors to help her teach because she did not know the material herself. Lectures usually consisted of her reading directly from the textbook or from the PowerPoints (which she did not even create). Since our pre-class work is to read the textbook and PowerPoints ourselves, this added no value. When students asked questions, we were often met with hostility or an unhelpful, “I don’t really know the answer to that.” Professors themselves had no clear idea what would be on the exams, and l
